WoW Item Upgrades
Item upgrades, also known as "upping" are enchantments or items that can be used to improve the performance of weapons and armor. These upgrade components add a certain number of points to the level gauge for the item, with their cost increasing with their rarity.
A perfectly formed version of this armor is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community due to its ability to limit the amount of damage a weapon can cause.
Type-restricted upgrades
Upgrades are an essential component of the equipment crafting process. Upgrades can be used to improve an item's stats or increase its strength or provide an added benefit. They can also alter the appearance of an item. While certain upgrades are universal, others are governed by specific rules for armor or weapons. Using the wrong type of upgrade can ruin an otherwise fantastic weapon, and could even cause it to become useless.
As a general rule it is possible to upgrade the equipment you have to the level of its highest-level counterpart. You can only upgrade helms to the highest level. Weapons can be upgraded to the equivalent of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's power of damage, but it can decrease the value of its trade.
You can upgrade an item using flightstones or crests. The amount of each depends on the item's level and slot. For example upgrading to a sword will cost more flightstones than upgrading bracers or a cloak. There are also discounts on the number of crests and flightstones required to upgrade an item.
When you upgrade an item, it fills its diamond-shaped indicator. Each step increases Tier level by one-third. Tier 3 is the highest level. It may take different upgrades to get to this level, based on the item. It is crucial to remember that any processes that be used to mount a disk shouldn't be running during an upgrade. You must also ensure that the disk you're upgrading is not being used as an operating system drive.
Enchantment allows you to transform white or Common items to rare or blue items. Eleanor's Enchantment Shop, located in the Capital District is where you can do it. This process does NOT add gem or rune slot to the equipment. However it alters the dimensions of the equipment. It increases the size of the equipment by the size of a creature two categories smaller, for example that a Blaster Pistol is deemed Small, whereas the Stormtrooper Armor is Medium.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades that can be made on any kind of equipment. This includes weapons and armor. Upgrade components can be obtained through Random drops or side quests. Universal upgrades can be temporary or permanent, and they can be combined with Power Ups. They can be linear or branching.
Universal Upgrades start when "internal technology" can provide sentient beings new capabilities that they are extremely unlikely to develop in natural ways. Examples of internal technology include implants or prostheses. This kind of upgrade is not the same as medical internal technology, which seeks to restore the capabilities of nature. It is the start of an era that will change civilizations completely. The universal upgrade is long and complicated. The process can be classified in two categories one of complete success and the other of partial failure.
This is similar to way resort upgrades work at Disney or Universal. In the case of WDW, they usually happen due to operational reasons such as overbooking or room availability. In the case of Universal, this could be to transfer guests from one resort to another one that is open. This is not meant to be rude however it can be unavoidable in the present climate.
Contrary to Runes, Sigils and Jewels that can only be applied to specific kinds of equipment (armor, weapons or trinkets), universal upgrades can be applied to any gear. They can also be applied to multiple items at the same time. They are therefore more adaptable than other types of upgrades. This flexibility can be a problem when upgrading items that are on the same gear path. It can raise the levels of each of the pieces on the path.

Prior to performing an upgrade, it's important to stop the PowerShell Universal service and delete the existing application files. After that, you can install new files using the GetChildItem-Recurse command, or Unblock-File. To make sure that your PSU server is functioning properly you must also conduct a basic verification.
Jewels
Jewels can be used to enhance armor, weapons or other items. They give varying stat bonuses and other effects depending on the gem and reagent used to make them. They are found in Golden Chests, Rift Incursions as well as V Blood Carriers and in regular enemies. They can also be bought from a Master Craftsman in exchange for gold or karma. Jewels can be made using a table for jewelry using five of the same type of reagent and 1 gem to create an item with either a higher or lower level. This process is similar to upgrading a stone on the gemcrafting table.
Jewel tiers are based on the number of modifiers they have, with higher-tier jewels having more modifiers than lower-tier ones. The primary effect of a jewel is determined by the tier it's in, and the secondary effect is randomized and players can make use of luck potions to increase the chance of obtaining better secondary effects.
Like other upgrade components, jewels can be inserted into an item using an appropriate socket to increase the item's. A Garnet Jewel and a Garnet Stone both boost the strength of an item however, a Garnet Jewel also boosts a player's strength when attacking. Jewels can be found in all weapon, armor and accessory slots. They can also be used with some exotic trinkets, or lesser rarity trinkets that need slots.
Like other DM mechanics, gems help to ensure that items feel special to their owners. By offering a variety of different upgrade paths gems let players customize their equipment and find the right combination for their needs. They can upgrade their equipment with new gems if they feel that the initial set is no longer the best.

These upgrades can be obtained at any upgrader NPC, or by rescuing them from items containing them, with different types of items dropping different upgrade components.

A window will open with the different upgrades available for this item. The window will display the upgrade level, the type of upgrade bonus (such Tech Points or a Quality Chance) and the cost of upgrading. The player then has to provide the correct currency to make the upgrade, and may be asked to provide additional items when needed. These requirements are based on the item's level, with weapons typically having stricter requirements than armor.
Many upgrade recipes include the list of acceptable material as well as the required components. This list lists the other upgrade components are available on the item, as well as an indication of whether the item can be guaranteed to boost or additional effect. This is crucial because the value of an upgrade can differ greatly based on its "extras.' For example, perfectly rolled gear can be worth more than a non-upgraded model.
The list of upgrade types that require crests or valorstones will be displayed in a separate list below the main list. The crests and valorstones needed are determined by the level of the item and weapon upgrades needing the most Valorstones.
